Scrapは、スマートフォンのNFCを使って電子ペーパーの表示を書き換えるアプリです。電池もケーブルも不要で、端末をスマートフォンにかざすだけで画像を送れます。

主な機能

写真・画像を送る

• ギャラリーから画像を選び、電子ペーパーのサイズに合わせて自動でリサイズ・トリミング
• 白黒の二値化処理(しきい値とコントラストを調整可能)
• 他のアプリから「共有」で画像を直接受け取れます

テキストから画像を作る

• 複数行のテキストを入力するだけで、電子ペーパー用の画像を作成
• 文字サイズは表示エリアいっぱいに収まるよう自動調整
• フォントを選択可能(ゴシック、明朝、等幅、コンデンス、筆記体、カジュアル、太字)
• 文字揃えを選択可能(左寄せ、中央寄せ、右寄せ、両端揃え)
• 枠線を選択可能(実線、二重線、破線、角丸、なし)
• 枠線の太さ、枠線の外側・内側の余白を調整可能
• プレビューを見ながら仕上がりを確認できます

画像履歴

• 作成した画像は履歴に保存され、あとから選んで再送信できます

使い方

1. 使用する電子ペーパーのサイズを選択
2. 画像を選ぶ、またはテキストを入力して画像を作成
3. 「送信」を押して、電子ペーパーをスマートフォンのNFCエリアに近づける

• NFC搭載のAndroid 10以降のスマートフォンが必要です
• NFCの位置は機種によって異なります。送信中は端末をずらさずにお待ちください
• 電子ペーパーの書き換えには数秒かかります

I had a Waveshare 4.2-inch passive NFC-powered e-paper display (RB-Wav-188), so I made an app to update its image.

Scrap lets you update an e-paper display using your phone's NFC. No battery or cable needed — just hold the display against your phone to send an image.

Features

Send photos and images

• Pick an image from your gallery; it is automatically resized and cropped to fit the display
• Black-and-white conversion with adjustable threshold and contrast
• Receive images directly from other apps via the Share menu

Create images from text

• Type multi-line text and turn it into an e-paper image
• Font size is automatically maximized to fill the available area
• Choose a font (sans-serif, serif, monospace, condensed, cursive, casual, bold)
• Choose text alignment (left, center, right, justify)
• Choose a border (solid, double, dashed, rounded, or none)
• Adjust border width and the margin/padding inside and outside the border
• Check the result in the live preview

Image history

• Images you create are saved to history so you can send them again later

How to use

1. Select your e-paper display size
2. Pick an image, or type text to create one
3. Tap send, then hold the display against your phone's NFC area

Notes

• Requires an Android 10+ phone with NFC
• The NFC antenna position varies by phone. Keep the display still while sending
• Refreshing the display takes a few seconds
